This calculator is very easy to operate with its large keys (just right for those of us with oversized fingers). It has enough heft to sit securely on a desk, and the bottom has gripper feet so that it won't slide around. The large angled display improves visibility quite a bit - you don't have to crane your neck over the thing in order to read the result. As with most of these desk calculators, solar charging is included to extend battery life. Best of all, it uses a single, readily available AAA battery (no more hunting for button cells).

Just purchased this to replace a similarly sized desk top calculator from the 1990s. I am pleased with the turquoise-and-white color scheme--nice. The display is large and the calculator functions well under relatively low light (no doubt, in part, due to the backup batteries). Wasn't really looking for one with a dual energy supply, however this seems to make sense to me now. The buttons are good-sized and (so far) all function properly. I pop this easily into a desk drawer when not in use.

Mi piace molto questa calcolatrice perché ha un display grande ed i tasti numerici colorati inoltre funziona bene ed è a doppia alimentazione sia cin batteria che ad energia solare.

I needed new calculator and specifically wanted one with BOTH solar and battery. This one met that requirement and exceeded my expectations for the price. It has a nice weight to it and feels higher quality than my previous solar calculator. The buttons are large, responsive, and do not stick. The display is easy for my 56 year old eyes to read. :) It takes a single AA battery and I was happy to see I did not require a screwdriver to get into the battery compartment. My previous solar calculator would not work unless it was stored in the light on top of my desk. I have been able to keep this one in a drawer and it works great when I pull it out. The color makes it fun. One of the rubber pads on the bottom came off, but it still fits flat on the table and they didn't keep it from sliding anyway. Overall I am very pleased! I would definitely purchase this calculator again.

I like the size of this calculator and that it is just basic functions. The keys feel good and the fact that it takes a normal battery that is in an easy to use battery hatch is awesome. I also like that it has an off button which many similar calculators do not have. The reason it didn’t earn five stars is because the feet were uneven which gives it a wobble when being used. I pulled them off and used some adhesive rubber feet of an appropriate size that I had. Still a good product despite this minor annoyance.

Good value and good design

A simple, easy to use calculator. It does its job well. The keys are easy to read and far enough apart for the visually impaired. The design is effective and the product seems well made.
