This 90W 802.3bt PoE injector is built like a tank. I tested it to 70W and it worked well and barely got warm.It also has a unique feature that indicates whether the downstream PD device is using Mode A, Mode B, or both. Often PoE devices are not labeled as to which mode they operate in, so I find this feature quite useful.Probably the only two things I would change are:1. Use a more typical IEEE power connector (the PC computer style). This unit has a more compact connector, which means that its cord, if misplaced, will be a bit harder to find a replacement lying around.2. Provide mounting tabs/feet.

I have a TP-Link EAP610 access point, and I wanted to be able to power it off the Ethernet port instead of having to plug it into the wall, which is especially annoying when mounting these on the ceiling. This box did just the trick, taking a port off my Gigabit switch and injecting the 802.3at powering into the Ethernet cable so that when I replugged it, the access point turned on and worked perfectly, just as if I had powered it from the wall. This has made mounting it much easier and cleaner, and this injector has worked flawlessly since I installed it. Works great.The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is for a couple of annoying little qualities. First, it's pretty darn heavy. I don't know how heavy a PoE injector is supposed to be, but I didn't know it would be such a chunk of hardware. It takes a standard C13/C14 plug, so the transformers must be inside the box, weighing it down. The outside if made from metal which makes this box a bit more dangerous. There's a screw on the side for grounding it with a sticker warning you to do just that. I haven't, and honestly I don't know what I could ground this thing to that it doesn't get from the ground pin on the C13 plug.Finally, the blue LEDs on this box are BRIGHT. That is probably a good thing for most server-room situations, but in mine where I have this placed behind my television, it's annoying how much blue glow comes from behind the TV. I have to angle this in a way to minimize the glow.
