Directv would not activate the box because we didn't get it through them. Fought with them for 3 weeks and finally had to rent their box which was the exact same one! Now I have 2 boxes I can't use.

I understand with the changes Direct Tv has gone through that the prices to purchase the receivers have gone up a little bit, but my customers don't mind as long as they don't have to deal with the Direct TV flunky's installing and messing up their complex setups. This vender was up front with the pricing and my customer was very happy and so was I. Highly recommend this vender!

I purchased this receiver and Directv say they cannot activate the receiver because they only activate receivers purchased from AT&T Directv.I've been a Directv customer for more than twenty years, and I can tell you its going downhill since AT&T has taken over.

After spending a whole day on the phone with DIRECTV they refused to activate the box said it could not be activated because it was not issued by AT&T/DIRECTV

Had issue that box was not able to be put into service due to issue with Direct-TV, talked to authorized dealer and they were able to get the box set up for me.
