You have to drill about a 3/4 size hole.I was able to tightly install this, then lightly seal around cable to keep attic temp from coming in.

After getting my Starlink, I found that I had to drill a hole in my wall to get the cable through. I really didn't like that idea but didn't have much choice. I wanted something that could cover that hole a little better which this does. It's a simple little grommet that comes in two pieces. You just lift the smaller part out, run your cable through, and put it back together again. The only negative is that you'll need to cut your hole even bigger to get this to insert into your wall. That is probably the only negative that I've found.

I drilled a 1” hole with a spade bit through the soffit and this product filled that gap perfectly. A+Super easy install takes about 5 seconds, if you have a hole tolerance between 1/8” or so this should fit no problem. The finish is clean.

I bought these to use on a hole I had to drill through my wall for a cell phone booster cable. While there are all kinds of options I really like that these look good, fit snugly and also hold the cable in place without having to cut up or modify the grommet. I was able to install the pair of these in about 5 minutes and they are doing a great job of stopping bugs and air from leaking from the house into the garage. Easy decision.
