I bought this to wear as a daily statement piece, and I love the paperclip chain and heart pendant combo. It’s very lightweight and the toggle clasp makes it incredibly easy to put on by yourself. My only small surprise was the color. It is a bit more of a bright yellow-gold than I was expecting from the photos. It still looks great, but just a heads up if you are trying to match it with other 14K gold jewelry that might be a softer tone. Overall, a great piece for the price!

Don’t be fooled by the price. This necklace looks far more expensive than the $9.99 price. For a quality piece like this you would expect to pay a lot more. It is highly polished, doesn’t have a brassy tone to the gold, and is very comfortable to wear. I love the fact that the toggle clasp is in the front. As you can see in one of my photos, at 18” long, it’s not too short or too long for this design. The heart’s size is perfectly scaled to the chunky chain and toggle so that the entire piece is balanced and hangs very nicely when it’s worn. The toggle in the front is great. Not only does it add interest to the design, but it’s easy to use and it puts an end to having your chain shift around your neck until the clasp is in the front instead of in the back where it belongs. Another bonus to this design is that you won’t chip your nail polish or break a fingernail while struggling to secure your necklace.This necklace design is very versatile. It can be worn with everything from evening wear to jeans and a sweatshirt. I worn it with a plain white top and jeans to a hockey game and it looked just fine, but I also have a little black dress that would look fabulous with this necklace. Trust me, you can’t go wrong with this one.
