I am giving these four stars because if you don't care too much about the material that they're made out of then you will probably like them because they are well made, thick, comfortable (though a little tight), and a cute design. But I am taking away one star because in the product description it says they are 70% wool, 25% Cotton and 5% polyester, BUT also on the photos they have posted they show a picture of a goat (??) with "70% cotton" written on it...So already within the listing itself there is a discrepancy in what they say the materials are. There are also many things misspelled in the photographs which gives me cause for concern and makes me think that probably what they have listed as the materials is not correct at all especially if they think cotton (or wool) comes from a goat. The packaging says nothing about the materials except that the socks are made in China. Judging by the smell and the feel I'm going to say there's a lot less cotton and wool than the percentages given in the listing. I am leaning towards these being probably mostly polyester. They are very stretchy but also so tight that my 4-year-old didn't want to wear them because she said they were too tight. She did love the unicorn design and the colors though.

I have a god-daughter who loves unicorns, and warm clothes, and this item combines both of them. I love that they're mostly wool, combined with cotton, and with only a little bit of synthetic material. (Polyester, where I would have expected Spandex.)The colors are pretty without being too frou-frou, and the unicorn design is elegant in its simplicity. I'm curious to see whether she'll give the unicorns individual names.The socks themselves are terrifically soft, and thick enough to keep her warm, but not thick enough to make it hard for her to wear them with boots or winter shoes.As Goldilocks would say: Just right.If they were larger, I'd keep a pair for myself. :^D

The fit was spot on, the thickness and feel is warm and comfy. Great value for cost. If only there were more colours.

KidsI purchased Kids Merino Wool Hiking Socks and they proved to be a good purchase. The fabric is warm, soft, and comfortable, thus keeping the little feet warm during the outdoor activities. They are snug, they do not slide off and are very handy like other socks. On the whole, these are of high quality socks which also help kids enjoy more outdoor games and hiking.
