I use this in the front cupholder of a 2008 Honda Civic, so your mileage may vary based on your car, but I'm not real excited about it. It works well enough that I don't want to go through the trouble of returning it, but the dang thing is just not stable. It holds my phone (iPhone SE 2020 with a low profile case and a Pop Socket thingy on the back) reasonably well and has reasonably accommodating positioning, but the foundation that rests in my cars cup holder is not very stable at all. Every time I drive it requires multiple readjustments, because it leans or jostles about. If you bump it gently it has no foundation to resist and flops around even more. The cup holder works well and fits my wide Nutribullet smoothie cups. It won't fall over completely, but due to the wobbliness, they need to go back to the drawing board on the foundation and design something more stable.UPDATE: the company contacted me about my fitment problem and attempted to resolve it. Unfortunately, while it may be a solid fit for most car’s cup holders, it simply does not do well in the squarish ones in my Civic. Kudos to this company for doing their best to assist the customer. They went out of their way to make it right and I respect their integrity and customer centered commitment; a rare quality these days. I upped my rating because of their efforts. I would buy from them again knowing they stand behind their product and support their customers.

I purchased this cupholder in June 2023 and am still using it even though the pads that hold the phone securely came off within the first week of use. I like that I don't lose the cupholder, it fits oversized cups, and it holds the phone up high.The arm spins around with no way to tighten it and sometimes the phone slips out.Overall, it is still the best option for hands free cell phone that allows you to keep the cup holder.

The Product works exactly as stated. It fits into the existing drink holder, allowing the user to still put a drink into the new holder, but also mount your cellphone to the removable & adjustable arm. We use this whenever we go on trips requiring us to use our cellphone map function. The mounting arm allows for optimum use, freeing up our hands to drive undistracted while allowing us to easily view & hear cellphone directions. What is nice is that you can easily remove the arm, holding the cell phone, when it is not needed. Thereby allowing for the standard cabin space... I prefer this over getting a cellphone holder that covers the vent or that sticks to the windshield...

This feels like a solid cup holder, well-made of strong plastic.I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons.1. The unit is huge; once installed in the car, it hides many of the controls on the console.2. The way the instructions are written. First, it guides you step by step through the assembly process. Then once the unit is assembled, the instructions say, and I am paraphrasing, "Before you install......".I found that confusing.
