I purchased this Fujitsu scanner bundle, fully aware that the seller clearly stated it isn’t compatible with Windows 11. That wasn’t an issue for me since I planned to use it on a Windows 10 system. However, even on Windows 10, the setup turned out to be an absolute nightmare.The configuration process was overly complex, with outdated drivers and clunky software that demanded far more troubleshooting than any scanner should. Despite spending hours trying to get it running, I ultimately ended up with an unusable product.While the scanner’s physical condition seemed acceptable for a renewed item, the software experience was deeply frustrating. If you’re tech-savvy and patient, you might succeed in getting it to work, but be prepared for a time-consuming and frustrating setup process.Overall, I can’t recommend this scanner unless you’re absolutely certain you’re ready to tackle the setup quirks and limitations. For me, it simply wasn’t worth the effort.

Hasn’t worked since I set it up. Will only scan 1 page at a time which is exactly the OPPOSITE of what I need it to do for my business

This is a great scanner....very happy. Had Fujitsu s1500 that I literally wore out after about 10 years of heavy use. Expecting this one will last as long.

I bought this to replace a Raven scanner that went out of business. I read the comments regarding Windows 11 and did research online. It clearly stated that the software was not available for Windows 11. I downloaded the software from Fujitsu which was for Windows 10. I then downloaded NAPS2 and it worked perfectly.The NAPS2 is great scanner software and I had the scanner working within 15 minutes. The packaging was adequate and as described the scanner was refurbed, and I was satisfied with the condition.It was a great deal for $140.00!

Overall, this is a pretty decent scanner package. The scanner works well (once you find the right software / drivers), scanning double-sided documents very quickly with a high resolution output. I'm using it to quickly scan various statements and letters that for whatever reason still come in paper form. Out of the scanning software (which can be found on the Fujitsu website with a bit of searching), you can get a PDF or JPG that can then be used to archive the data, send it on virtually, etc. The scanner is built like a tank - it's very heavy but also very solid and does seem like it should be durable for the long haul. You get what appears to be a new USB 2 A to B cable and AC adapter as well as a microfiber cleaning cloth.So that's a lot of good - high speed, good quality scanning from a durable scanner - then what's the downside and why did I only give it 4 stars? That comes down to the age of the scanners. Sure, it's renewed, but this scanner was clearly heavily used - it was manufactered in 2012 according to the sticker on it and was somewhat dusty (though that was easily cleaned with the cloth) in addition to some general signs of wear. It's therefore somewhat hard to tell how much life the scanner has left though it seems physically ok. It also means that the software and drivers are somewhat hard to find, requiring substantial searching - and that software / drivers package is technically for Windows 10 though it does work on 11 (or I was able to get it to work). Given that it's already 12 years old though, when will support / driver updates stop?All that said, I do still recommend this scanner if you have a need for high speed / high volume scanning of documents. You might cross-shop it against a new version and see which better meets your needs and pocketbook. But if this is the right price / right capabilities for you, rive it a try today!
