Extremely pleased with the sound and picture quality. The remove is solid, and I like the backlit function. Very user friendly to install, setup was a breeze. Using the pre-outs for 5.2 with an Emotiva XPA-5 Gen 3, and 2 SVS subs. Receiver will power two outdoor patio speakers. Video upmixing looks great with the Sony X98.

Sound is phenomenal and so is video quality. Setup is easy and controls are plentiful. Only downside (reason for the 4 stars) is the network control. The app often stops controlling the unit for some functions and misreports its status. Easily remedied with the supplied remote but…Even comes with wire labels and a cardboard “tripod” for the setup mic. And the price was excellent.

In September of 2023, I purchased a Marantz Cinema 70s AVR from one of Amazon's partners via this website. About a week ago, the headphone jack on the AVR quit working, which is a problem for me because the AVR is located in my bedroom. In any event, Marantz denied my claim for a warranty repair on the ground that the vendor (Amazon's partner) is not an authorized Marantz dealer. I have to accept some of the blame because I did not ask Marantz or Amazon about the vendor's legal status. On the other hand, neither Amazon nor the vendor disclosed the fact that I would not be receiving a Marantz warranty with my purchase. Had I known that fact, I would have purchased the AVR elsewhere. As the old saying goes, Caveat Emptor.

Não conheço muitos modelos de Reciver, mas este por comparação de imagens me parece o mais bonito e com visual minimalista de todos. O som é incrivel, te permite ligar até dois Subwoffer o que deixa tudo espetacular.

This is the new "brain" of my Klipsch home theater system and wow does it perform! I'm upgrading from a ~10 year old Denon receiver and even my friends and family who aren't self-described audiophiles were amazed at the wraparound audio. Definitely take the time to set up the microphone (included) and calibration process.Setup:2x Klipsch RP 600M II (L&R)1x Klipsch RP 500C II (Center)2x Klipsch RP 500SA II (L&R Ceiling Bounce)2x Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Heritage (RL, RR)The ProMedia speakers are definitely the weakest point of the system given that they are intended to be used as computer speakers, but the side channels are absolutely worth it. Eventually I plan to add two subwoofers (which the Marantz Cinema 70S supports) to complete the system.
