Not sure if it's just bad and doesn't work for anybody or it's just incompatible or NVME requires use of the SAS instead of SATA ports. There's 4 ports on the rear 2 sata, 2 sas, no instructions on which one to use when or why. My motherboard only has sata 6gb. I have 8 sata ports it works in none of them. I bought 4 to work with gen 4 nvme 4tb sticks, to replace my ailing 4tb spinning disks in my raid. No go, controller doesn't see anything on the interface with these plugged in, in either sata port. I plugged in an older OCZ solid state drive, with their cable and the motherboard picked it up and used the OCZ just fine.
