The user guide was difficult to understand, and control software hard to find. In use, however, the device is excellent, and I will be buying another!

1枚4TBのSSDを夜中に3枚買ってしまい、PC(MAC)のThunderboltポートが全然足りないことも有り、値引きとポイント還元が凄まじいこの製品を購入しました。いつものようにマニュアルを見ずにSSDをセットしているとスロットが全くはまらずマニュアルを見返すとネジ止めを上においてネジを下から締める仕様となっていました。ついでに約30°の角度で差し込むことにも従いました。おかげかどうか一発で認識しましたがそのままの状態だと4スロットが4ドライブと認識され、速度もスロット辺り最大10Gbpsと少々しょぼいのでOSの機能でRAID0とするとやっと4スロットで1ドライブ、速度も1枚入りケースより若干遅い程度にすることができました。今のところ、トラブルは組上げ、接続を完了し、電源スイッチを入れたときにMACが勝手に再起動したことです(OSは15.7.1)。MACの電源ON/OFFと連動して本製品もON/OFFするのが地味に便利で助かっています。Windowsでは一般的だと思いますが、Windowsでは可能だがMACでは出来ない製品が多くて。。

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the docking station. I am used to working with NAS and SAN devices and their much higher prices but this device easy to use and simple to connect to your pc or laptop. I decided to use it as just a bunch of disc (JBOD) and installed 5 SSD of different sizes in the docking station. Whether I connect to my laptop or pc, it just works and I'm able to use the 3+ TB of storage for whatever I need at that time.I'm happy with this purchase.

Simply awful. The software you need to make this work on a PC does not exist online or in the box.Their instruction manual and videos all refer to this software, but it is nowhere to be found. Their web page support returns no response for this model number. I tried the only two versions of software available on their web site. Neither worked. Plugging the unit into a PC does nothing. The computer will not acknowledge it even exists. Windows will not find the device. It will not install a driver. Without software, this thing is a paperweight, yet the software does not exist. I've built many RAID arrays in my life, and am no stranger to data management as a network administrator and builder for two decades. All I was trying to do is get any of the five formatted SSD drives I installed, or the bay itself to show up on my PC in simple mode (no RAID selected). Nothing! No changes in device manager, no changes in disk management. Nothing. Zero support on their web page. Zero software on their web page. I wasted three hours on this mistake. It went back the next day. I opted to tape together five single-drive USB 3.1 enclosures all plugged into a 5-port USB 3.2 hub. They all showed up in my PC immediately, and at half the price. This device looks good, but given it requires software that doesn't exist, I decided to be practical instead. After reading other reviews, I can't help but believe what I'm doing is faster anyway. I'm getting full speed out of every drive.

外付けSSDを1つ1つ単体でその都度接続していたのですが、このケースを使用する事によってボタン1つで一気に4個のSSDを接続できるので、手間が掛からず非常に便利です。SSDの取付けも簡単ですしアクセス速度も速いです。

Very simple to set up. If left as normal, each drive is a SEPERATE drive with a seperate NAME. IF you use ANY RAID function realize that ALL FOUR BAYS are involved. You cannot do two as Raid 0 and two as RAID 1. Otherwise the instructions are clear. The drives (You provide thoses) are easy to install with a few screws and a magnetic screwdriver (philips). Make sure the screws are flush with drive holder as tolerances are tight. Well built.

あちこちでクーポンコードが見つかるので利用しましょう。デザインからもわかるようにMac、とくにMac miniでの使用が前提となっている様に思います。MacでのソフトウェアRAIDも問題なく使えます。ただ、冷却ファンは動いてるのかどうか分からない気休め程度だし、LEDも青なのでここは白にして欲しかったです。
