If you have fiber with ST type connectors and need to convert them to RJ45 and expand your connectivity, this is a perfect solution for your use case. The RJ45 ports auto negotiate from 10 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s (Fast Ethernet) through 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit). Be aware this unit is for 850nm multi-mode fiber, so single mode fiber will not work with this unit. Performance-wise, it has exceeded my expectations and is fully capable of saturating my home network when I am downloading and transferring massive files from the cloud to local servers. It works great, it is solidly constructed and there is no setup other than plugging things in and getting to work. It's a great product for the price for that specific use case of 850nm multi-mode fiber with ST type connectors.
