Bought this to pair with a lamiglas UL and I love the combo. The reel is super light and performs well. Holds a decent amount of line for a small reel. Battled numerous trout with this and had no issues. Also has a pretty good casting ability.

By far my favorite reels. I've tried cheaper reels, and more expensive, but i just keep coming back to these.I have five of them, in three different sizes. I use the 25 (6lb and 8lb braid) for trout, perch and panfish. 35 (15lb and 20lb braid) for bass and put a 40 20lb braid) on my steelhead rod.They are incredibly smooth, nice and light, and have great drag. They have become my go to reel and couldn't be happier with them!

Very smooth well built I'm fishing ultra light for trout in stream and using braid and it’s a great reel. Caught some pretty good trout and had plenty of power, great drag. Very happy with purchase. Don’t be afraid to spend the money . Definitely a upgrade from the president. I fished for years with president.

This reel is great, the supreme xt new model is extremely smooth both reeling and casting it performs well all the way around, looks really sleek with carbon fiber and gold accents it fits with just about any rod aesthetically. The only gripe I have with the new model is the lack of an anti-reverse switch, I’m really not sure why they decided to remove this option. It’s not something I use very often so not a big deal although there are situations it can be useful. Overall great reel for the price.

We had a very good year fishing but nothing big enough to really put it to the test. Used this reel a lot and it has a feel I really like. No issues, casts very well and smooth retrieve. I have some nice mid to higher end Shimano, Abu, and Daiwa and this is my overall first grab if I think I am going to catch some heavier bass or trout.
