These are soft, stretchy, and we had no leaks overnight for a full night sleep. I usually rotate between a few brands but these stood out because they seemed less bulky while still being absorbent. The tabs held up to multiple re-fastenings, which is a small but important thing when dealing with an active toddler. We’ve had zero skin irritation while using these, and I’ll likely stick with them for now.

We've been a Huggies family for our disposable diaper use for two and a half years now. My favorite used to be the partially plant-based Special Delivery diapers, which were discontinued in favor of these Skin Essentials diapers. Currently we're also making use of Skin Essentials Pull-Ups and Huggies Movers (see photos for a comparison between these three Huggies types in size 2T/3T for the Pull-Ups and size 5 for the diapers).The main difference between these and Movers appears to be on the interior of the diaper, where the outermost layer that touches the baby has holes for breathability. I haven't noticed any change in the frequency of diaper rash occurrences when using the Skin Essentials vs Movers. (Note also that for some reason the Skin Essentials Pull-Ups don't have this breathability layer, if that matters to you.)Things I like about the Skin Essentials diapers:They're incredibly soft on the outside and feel bougie.The absorbancy and fit seems to be on par with the absorbancy & fit of Huggies Movers diapers - there's no difference in functionality which is obviously the most important part of a diaper!Things I think could be improved:It's disappointing that Huggies didn't make these partially plant-based, because disposable diapers are already a big stress on the environment and it was nice to use something that was slightly less plastic-y.The colors are very "sad beige baby". I love the understated Mickey heads, but wish they'd chosen a color scheme that was a little more fun.Overall I think these diapers are quite nice, but I'm not sure they're worth the extra premium in cost over the main Huggies line given that there aren't any environmental advantages.

We've always been a Kirkland brand family up until they've recently changed their manufacturer! They were inexpensive and helped keep blow outs in check! Now with a much more inferior product, we decided to look elsewhere. These Huggies Skin Essential are excellent especially for the price! The fit well with no added bulk and the Velcro works well to hold everything together. Fantastic product!

I only use Huggies, and these Skin Essentials are easily one of their best. Super soft, no weird fragrance, and they don’t leave marks or cause irritation. The fit is snug without being tight, and they don’t sag or overflow when they’re full which is more than I can say for a lot of other brands. They actually hold a surprising amount and still stay dry on the outside, even overnight.The waistband has a good stretch to it, and the leg cuffs keep everything in without cutting into the skin. They are so soft yet durable. The design is subtle and we love Mickey.My only complaint? They don’t make these in size 7 or 8. Big kids can still have sensitive skin, and this formula just works better than anything else I’ve tried and offers the best in leak protection. Huggies, please make it happen.

These Huggies diapers are soft and gentle on baby’s skin, without feeling tight or restrictive. The absorbent pad and reinforced leg barriers keep leaks and blowouts contained. The back pocket catches messes well, protecting clothes and seats. They fit well, giving room to grow, and don’t irritate sensitive skin. They cost a bit more, but the comfort, fit, and reliability make them worth it.

I absolutely love these Huggies Skin Essentials Diapers! These have both a soft inner and outer shell, so they’re comfortable and cozy all the way around. There’s no scent to them either, so they’re perfect for sensitive skin. These run fairly true to size, if not a little bigger and longer. They tabs are super stretchy, so I can get a snug fit without them stretching out or snapping. I do think they’re a tad bit too long— they bunch up around the back and just look a little funky, but I haven’t had any issues with blowouts. They hold a lot of liquids, and don’t burst open. These are great diapers for both infants and toddlers!
