These sort of garden kneeler/seats are neat, especially for those with joint issues or just those who are doing a good amount of weeding or other garden task.I am most familiar with the fixed, molded plastic versions of this so that's where my comparisons will come.The metal design does allow it to be folded and does seem to be considerably stronger in use. The seat and kneeling pads are also quite wide, making it comfortable to sit on. And instead of an integrated tool 'hole' you get a pouch that slots over either end of the side walls, so it works in either direction.Folding won't happen by accident as you pretty much have to use two hands to pull in the spring-loaded bar and fold the side in. It's maybe a bit awkward but better than happening on its own.Biggest issue seems to be in the kneeling orientation as contact with the ground is only on the sides. That means that where the more basic versions of this will distribute the weight over the entire surface when placed on soft dirt...this just sort of sinks in until it hits the seat cushion.And while the slotted pouch is useful enough for basic tools the other bag has no real connection or relation to the seat and is both floppy and not all that useful. Or you probably have a better version already. But for a folding garden seat it's good overall, if pricey.

This PORAISE Garden Kneeler & Seat arrived assembled, had a heavy-duty frame that provided stability while in use, yet lightweight, and the kneeling pad offered comfort while cleaning out my lower kitchen cabinetry and bottom closet spaces. The reversal transition between kneeling and sitting reduced the strain on my knees and back, making cleaning chores less daunting for me. The ability to flip this seat to position my body at a higher or lower angle was the best feature for me.Overall, the PORAISE’s general design and padding allowed for ease of use, comfort, portability, and storage, and the two integrated tool pouches were practical – kept cleaning items and tools that I needed close at hand. For me, the functionality of this seat made it a winner.

I’m very happy with this gardening bench. I would highly recommend it and to think outside the box for uses as the functionality goes beyond just working in the yard. I fully expected to assemble it but it came preassembled and all that needs to be done is fold the legs out. I love that it folds back down easily to minimize storage space. It’s nice that it comes with a pouch to carry on the side for tools (can also be worn around the waist) and a tote bag for additional items. At first I thought the tote was too short to be very useful but the side pouches have little elastic straps to hold items in place. Another nice feature is that it can be used for kneeling and then flipped for sitting or leaning over. My one complaint is that it came with a small divot in the foam but it is a minor flaw and doesn’t affect its usability so I’m not overly bothered. I have to say this item is thoughtfully designed and will hopefully hold up for many seasons.
