Wow, when combined with Alexa, this is AI (not at all in its infancy). I set it up to control a waterfall fountain (they make them for use in back yards, in bedrooms, etc.). Yeah, you can use your phone to turn it on and off. But what's really cool is linking it with Alexa and telling her to "turn on the waterfall" or to turn it off -- from any position in the room or adjacent room. And I also set it for what time to automatically turn it on in the morning and what time to turn it off, for any specific day or every day. BUT you need a lot of patience or some good tech support because there are three apps to deal with using instructions that look well organized but are not always clear and may be difficult for some (like me) to follow. Took me a day and a half and some great tech support, but it got done and it is amazing ! Works exactly as advertised.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Loving It So Far – Super Easy to Use!I’ve only had this outdoor smart plug for a couple of days, but so far it’s been great. Setup was quick and I love being able to control my patio lights from my phone. The app is simple, and the connection has been strong. I haven’t tested it in the rain yet, but it feels durable. So far, no complaints — it’s already made things more convenient!

I bought 3 of these switches 3 years ago to control my outdoor Christmas lights. These worked so well I've converted the plugs to control my accent lighting during the rest of the year that my Christmas lights are not up. When I bought Bistro lights for my backyard I bought a 4th plug, it too has worked like a charm. To give you some background I'm a home automation nerd. If I can automate it. I've done it. I've worked with other smart plugs in the past and can say that they can sometimes be tricky, Not always wanting to connect to your wifi when they are 1st set up, or re-connect if there is a power outage. That was not the case with these. All 4 of mine connected to the smart life app without any issue, and after 3 years, I've never had an issue with them not auto reconnecting after a power outage. My units also live outdoors 24x7x365 and deal with seasonal weather changes. So far they are still going strong. In short would recommend this unit for the following reasons:> easiest Smart plug I've used to initialize on your wifi network> I've never had an issue reconnecting them to my wifi after a power outage> 3 years of living outdoors and they have survived so far.> The Smart Life App is really easy to work with> They connect and work with my Echo device seemlessly

I just started using this outdoor smart plug for a few months now, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. Setup was a breeze — it connected to my home Wi-Fi through the app in just a couple of minutes. Sucede que si manualmente habilitas un enchufe a traves de la app, y luego lo apagas, y si posteriormente se va la luz del hogar, el enchufe que fue habilitado manualmente, se enciende. Entonces, si no estas en casa, se te va la luz, y ésta regresa, el enchufe que habias habilitado manualmente en una ocasion anterior, se enciende, y si tenias conectado ahi una bomba para llenar un tinaco, vas a desperdiciar mucha agua. Asi que no lo recomiendo para conectar bombas de llenado de tinacos o cisternas.

Don't waste your money. First it is controlled with a smart phone but you have to stand close it or it doesn't work. Then it's a timer but it doesn't come back on, we had to manually turn it back on. Then today after the 1 month return window expired, it stopped completely. We were fortunate it didn't destroy our pump.

Just got this Tessan smart plug two days ago, so my opinion might change...but my initial impressions:Price on Cyber Monday was attractive...$21, when all others were approaching $30.The product came in an unsealed box...leaving me skeptical that what I received was a previously returned item.I plugged it in outside, and it quickly blinked fast indicating it was ready for set up...good!Directions were included for several set up methods, but I found these directions to be a bit lacking. But the Amazon Alexa app quickly and efficiently recognized this device.The SmartLife app and Amazon Alexa app (including voice commands, but not remotely of course.) both worked well with the on/off control inside my home and from remote locations. The brief instructions included to set up a timer schedule were vague. So I needed to search online forums to successfully set up timer schedules through Smart Life, an associated app needed to operate this product.On my first night operating this product after setting up a timer schedule, it did go on and shut off accurately.I'm hopeful that this will be a fine product that, on its first night outside in 30° weather, performed to expectations.I'm hopeful it will continue to operate to expectations.
