I love these plugs. This is the 3rd set of singles I have bought and I have 2 double outlets and they all work great. Something I love about these outlets is they are very stable and rarely disconnect from wifi. Solid brand. The set up is super easy as well. You do need to have the Govee app to set up and then you can use the Alexa app, which I prefer to do. These work great with routines just like any other smart device. You can also manually turn on and off your outlet by pressing the small side button. These are 3 prong outlets so not compatible with a 2 prong polarized.

Works with google and Amazon Alexa, easy to install and use.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to use, can use with app or button on the side, I have mine sync to Amazon Alexa for voice control. Can be used anywhere you want a plug controlled. I’ve used them in the bedroom and living room. Great for Christmas lights.

I’ve been using the Govee smart plug for a few weeks now, and it’s been great. Setup was quick through the Govee app, and it connected to my WiFi without any issues. I use it to control a lamp and a coffee maker, and the scheduling feature works perfectly. It also integrates smoothly with Alexa, which makes voice control super convenient.The plug feels well-made and compact enough not to block the second outlet. For the price, it’s a solid smart home upgrade that just works. If you’re looking for a reliable, budget-friendly smart plug, this one does its job well.

With nearly all lighting and vacuuming at The 608 automated this Christmas we found ourselves with several devices that were not smart and required one to flip a switch, tap a button or plug in to turn on.I mean come on this isn’t the late 1900’s anymore.Thankfully @GOVEE had a solution.This is the H5083 Smart Plug.Govee has several options for smart plugs but these are fairly small. Generally you can still use the other plug on your outlet with one of these installed.As you can see they’re fairly simple looking.The app is pretty minimal has a few timers.These work via WiFi and Bluetooth. Can be controlled via voice from Google and Alexa and has a manual button.Alexa works pretty well. Little slow to turn on but I think that’s our lights and not the plug.And the button works great.Overall a useful little product for the non-smart electronics in your home. With a price around $7.50 a piece on a 4 pack they’re relatively affordable.

I’ve been using the Govee Smart Plug 4‑pack around my home for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the easiest smart‑home upgrades I’ve made. Setup was quick—just plug them in, open the app, and they paired without any frustration. The combination of WiFi and Bluetooth made the process feel smoother than other smart plugs I’ve tried.I use one of the plugs in my living room to control a floor lamp that doesn’t have a built‑in dimmer. Being able to turn the lamp on with my voice as I walk in—especially when my hands are full after coming home from work—has been surprisingly handy. Another plug went into the kitchen, where I connected it to a small coffee maker. I set up a simple timer so it turns on automatically in the morning, which honestly helps kick‑start my day without having to think about it.I also put one in my workspace. I plug in a small air purifier that I don’t always remember to shut off. Now, I can simply ask Alexa to turn it off or check it from my phone if I’ve already stepped out. The responsiveness has been consistent, and I haven’t dealt with drops or random resets.The grouping feature is also something I didn’t think I’d use much, but it’s become a favourite. I didn’t realize how much I needed these Govee Smart Plugs until I plugged one in and felt like a low-key tech genius. Setup? Practically instant. Integration? Seamless. My existing Govee lights and sensors all synced up like they’d been waiting for this reunion tour. The Govee Home app deserves its own recognition too. It’s fast, intuitive, and actually works (unlike some other “smart” apps that seem to need a coffee before responding).Scheduling devices, checking energy use, turning things on with a tap or a voice command is so easy. In fact, everything just feels smooth. I even automated my coffee maker to start brewing when my alarm goes off, because if that’s not living in the future, I don’t know what is.Bottom line: 5 stars for effortless setup, perfect integration, and a smart home upgrade that just works. These plugs are perfect! Much better than a previous brand we had tried. We now run Govee plugs and lights both at work and home. Very easy to setup, Alexa integration was quick and simple, and they work every time we need them. We bought 2 or 3 4-packs of these plugs after our initial purchase.
