This watch is very good for outdoor and rugged activities. I mostly use it for beach days to protect my smartwatch from water and sand. Tough, rugged, went swimming with it a week now every day. No issues. The best part is the nylon and Velcro band, feels great and cinches up for a perfect fit.

This watch is advertised as a military tactical watch. Granted it has a somewhat "tactical" look to it, but I see it's use as fairly limited. A few issues with the product: first, the display is extremely dim, and you have to look at the watch face at exactly the right angle to have light reflect off the lettering on the face to read it. There are cute graphics across the top of the screen in a graph pattern that do actually light up when you depress the backlight button, but they do not serve any function at all. Second, the instructions are incredibly poor and frustratingly translated. You will just have to play with the buttons for quite a while to get it set for you. It's going to be painfully slow going to figure out how to set the watch, much less how to set alarms and second time functions. The poor instructions alone really detract from the usefulness of the product.The entire watch is extremely light weight, which I suppose can be considered good if that's what you're after. I personally prefer just a tiny bit of weight to a wrist watch. The band however is poorly designed. There are velcro attachments on both ends of the strap, but you can't elongate the strap much to actually get it on your wrist since the velcro prevents you from pulling the strap out to make it briefly longer to get it on over your hand. If you have a small wrist, you can get it on easily, but it likely won't tighten down securely - staying a bit loose on the wrist. If you have a larger wrist, then good luck getting it on over your hand. It seems that frequently taking the watch on and off will quickly wear out the velcro.If you get this watch, take note that there is removable protective film covering the watch face - it looks blurry with it on. The claim is that it is somewhat water resistant, but I haven't tried that yet. The instructions say "the watch can swim", leading me to believe it might be ok treading water in a pool but I suspect little else.
