Must have split wifi, 2.4g and 5g. Use 2.4 g on phone and light for setup. After 5g on phone still works through router to the 2.4 g products on the network.Love the added music 🎶 mode where the light dances to the rhythm. Also allows future use with nest or Alexa to run “command’s” from a room not in mic reach of the host nest, alexa. Brightness is a plus minus the ability to select white light, or yellow tone, only custom colour select like older models still available. Wiz is the other smart bulb i trust.

Great bulb, works just fine. Would have liked a bit more lumens, but it's great irrespective.

PROSEasy integration with AlexaSimple set up with 2.4ghz band, and never have to connect to it again once you initialize the set up.No HubWorks flawlessly when changing bulb colors.Can name separate bulbs and set as many as you want into groups. Example, you have 8 lights in your kitchen, and you want every other light to be red and green, you can make a group for 4 lights and change it to red, and make another group for the Last 4 and change it to green, then you go to the other group you made with all 8 and change it to a scene where it changes from all colors instead.ConsYou cant set it by RGB code, would be nice to set red to 255 instead of having to use the slider.You can get by this by using alexa to turn it to red, or green, etc.The only other bad thing is they arent very bright when you use color. The warm white is bright and looks great but the colors are lacking in brightness but still worth getting.

This bulb and app are terrible. Keeps getting disconnected. Every time I turn it off and on, it gets disconnected and start blinking and needs to be connected on the app again. Makes it extremely difficult to use.

I purchased these hoping they would match up to another Geeni light I had purchased from Walmart, however these were different. However, these are much brighter than the one I got from Walmart, and I only needed two of these rather than three of the others.Set up is easy, but you have to have connection to 2.4gz Wifi. This is my first smart home product, and didnt want to start out with Philip Hue lights in case this just wasnt my 'thing' and for the money, I couldnt be happier. I'm excited to buy more and customize my homes lighting. It's a relatively cheap way to make changes to your home to make it match whatever mood youre feeling. I have noticed that the lights sometimes have a hard time connecting.It appears you can only create groups if youre using the same exact model bulb, so i wasnt able to add my first bulb to pair with these.

This was my first purchase of a WiFi bulbs which I was a little leary on making because I had heard & read very mixed reviews about them all,however it's been wonderful for me & my mobility issues.I've been using it daily for about a month. It was super easy to install, there were no additional parts needed & fits in a standard swag light kit. All it required was to download the Geeni app to my phone in order set it up which was super easy with just a couple of steps & to use all it's features. It was easy to link it to my Google Home & the "Hey Google" on my android phone & tablet.The photos are just some of the colors I enjoy. The warm shade photo is at about 75% brightness. You have a range of colors to pick from,you can adjust the shade of the color, the brightness & contrast. There are also lots of already pre-made light tones to pick from.It does have a timer feature to control when it automatically comes on & goes off according to time & day. There also is a cool feature that you can set it to come on or off according to weather.Highly recommended!! A great buy if you're looking for WiFi bulbs.I actually plan to buy a couple more.
