My Google Pixel Chromebook finally died after years of service. This HP Chromebook is a refurb, but arrived in like-new condition. I had an initial problem with setup from my phone, but did a complete hardware reset, setup without using my phone and signed in. The Chromebook is operating flawlessly and the 8Gb RAM makes it lightning fast compared with the previous device. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend. If I have issues, I'll update this review.

When I initially plugged in this refurbished laptop, the USB-C charging port became EXTREMELY hot, to the point where I was concerned about a fire hazard and considered returning it. Thankfully, I had a spare power supply from another Chromebook, and upon trying it, the heating issue completely disappeared. Since then, the laptop has been performing flawlessly. This experience served as a good reminder that power supplies can also fail, so I've ordered an inexpensive backup from Amazon. Definitely worth checking your power source if you encounter similar heat issues!
