These glasses are truly amazing! The AR display glasses community has been dreaming of this tech and its finally here! There are two main things that make these glasses special that no other commercial display glasses have - built in 3dof from the x1 chip (ie image stabilization like a gimbal, image pinning/anchoring, head tracking) and prism optics which are smaller/thinner and effectively eliminate all reflections from your environment.3dofWhy is image stabilization and anchoring so important? Without stabilization, the image will move with every movement and micromovement of your body, with each step you take the image will bounce around violently, to chewing your food there will be a shake with each bite, to even just sitting perfectly still you can even notice a small movement with each heartbeat. If not nauseating (which it is for most users including myself) then it is very annoying and distracting. Anchoring is important when you need to look at the edges of the screen, especially to view text. This is most important with productivity and gaming, but not so much media consumption. You will often need to look at the edges of the screen for taskbars and toolbars which provides quick access important information, but what good is this if you cant read it! Without 3dof, you will quickly get eye strain as you have to look with your eyes only and cannot move your head and this is very unnatural and tiring. Edges of screens are also generally the blurriest because lens curvature around the edge and less overlap of eyesight. With 3dof image anchoring, this solves the eyestrain and blurry edges because you can move your head now to see the edges!3dof in all past gen display glasses were implemented via software, but for the one pro, it is built right into the glasses. no extra hardware or software needed. Just plug the glasses into any usbc video out capable device and that is it. No fiddling with software to get it working or worrying about if your device is compatible with the software and no need for your device to meet minimum (often high and restrictive) specs to get the software running. With software 3dof there are often compatibility issues with different os as well as apps like streaming services and security issues with work computers as the software records your screen to redisplay in AR space. Built in 3dof without relying on software means you can use the 3dof with a low power/speced device like an older pc or a single board pc or a gaming handheld or console like the switch, xbox, playstation, with any phone with usbc video out, and with any operating system and app, and with a work pc. The one pro has many more compatible use cases than previous gen glasses!Important is also the quality of the 3dof. The x1 chip does an amazing job. lt is rock solid with no jittering, stuttering, drift or lag. Other company 3dof all have issues in one or several of these areas, but not here. Having bad 3dof is not much better than not having it at all. If you have never tried good 3dof, it is something you really have to try to appreciate. There are lots of different display glasses manufacturers and I have tried many of them. I even went to CES and tried many that are not commercially available. Some have their strengths in display sharpness, low cost, form factor, brightness, etc, but everything pales in comparison to the One Pro with the X1 chip.Prism opticsPrevious gen glasses notoriously suffered from reflections from your surrounding environment, particularly in bright light. On a sunny day, you could not even see the image sitting by a window or going outside. You need to physically attach a bottom light blocker to the glasses. While this works, it honestly looks quite ridiculous, especially wearing outside. With the new prism lenses, there are no reflections and you can easily wear it on a bright sunny day without issue. The new prism lenses are also smaller and thinner than the last gen birdbath lenses (approx 40%) so the glasses don't stick out from your face as far and look more like normal sunglasses. These are the best looking (to me) glasses yet and I wear them in public all the time and no one hardly notices.Other Considerations - the imperfectThere are a couple considerations which other reviews may mention may be a con to some. The prism lenses have a slight pincushion effect, the increased fov while nice, will slightly lower the image clarity as the image is stretched over a larger area, and there is a slight shimmer effect for certain text.To me, these issues are very minor and the benefits of the glasses overwhelmingly outweigh these negatives. These issues are mostly nitpicking on minor things which would not be even noticeable by the average user. The pincushion effect means the very edges of the screen curve inwards slightly with the 4 corners furthest out. This effect is not normally seen at all when using as a normal 16:9 aspect ratio. You can only see the effect when trying to make the screen larger than your field of view or using ultrawide mode (which is simply amazing). The effect itself, even when noticeable is very slight, and not really bothersome, just different. To me, the display quality is fantastic and I can easily use it all day for productivity reading small text and working with spreadsheets. But some complain that the text is not as clear compared to previous gen glasses because the field of view got larger. It is true that the pixels are now spread over a larger area, so the pixel density is less, however I find that because the field of view is larger, you can make the screen and its contents larger so it negates the loss in clarity. For example, when using older glasses to read a 10pt font, the actual physical size of that text is slightly smaller than using the one pros to read that same 10pt font with the same source device. I have done many readability tests back to back and I consistently get the same readability results. All other display clarity issues are primarily fit issues. Either ipd or face/head shape incompatibilities which may make the screens too far from the optimal viewing distance and location. One pros are one of the most adjustable glasses with arm heights, different physical size medium and large for ipd, and different nose pads that can be even stretched and pinched for customized fit. Really it is best to try it out yourself to see if it works for you as glasses fit is a very personal thing. The shimmer effect while also very minor, may be the most distracting issue of these three. It is generally only noticeable when viewing very small text with certain dark and light background to text contrasts. Again, most will not even notice this at all, but you get used to it quickly and isn't bothersome to me.So overall these glasses are amazing and the benefits overwhelmingly outweigh any negatives. These are very close to perfect to me and are definitely the ones to buy. All other glasses feel like outdated tech now. Once you get used to built in 3dof, it is very very hard to go back.

Great picture, sound, great for flying.
2026-01-20    -R. Harvie

Great for tv, movies on the go - especially airplanes. We travel quite a bit - just returned from Calgary to Bangkok flights - between flying time and layovers, it was great to be able to watch tv and downloaded movies on my iPhone (get the VReal hub power and play - Asia flights do not permit use of power banks during flights). I had used my MetaQuest in}n a Europe flight this past spring - nice, but bulky and no peripheral awareness re meals, other passengers, etc.. highly recommend. Also - bluetooth connection doesn't work on MetaQuest work with a few exceptions - with zero noise cancelling. Bluetooth with XReal via iPhone worked perfectly.Big screen, high quality picture results - in public, used with both bluetooth Sony ear buds and headphones. At home - in glasses speakers are excellent .

Way better than alternatives

I bought the Viture Luma Ultra before buying this and didn't like it, so I returned it and ordered this. It's night and day, the extra cost is 10000% worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars XReal One vs One Pro
2026-02-17    -David & Kelly

Background:I bought the XReal One and loved it. When I saw that the XReal One Pros were available, it was an easy decision to purchase. My wife kept borrowing my Ones so it was a perfect excuse to purchase the Pros.Similarities:Both glasses look great. They look like stylish sunglasses and don’t make you look like you are cosplaying Ready Player One.Both glasses are light weight, although the Pros are just slightly heavier. Still incredibly comfortable to wear.I’ve now used these for hours and can code on them comfortably without any issues. The text is crisp and there is no eye strain. My favorite, though, is playing BoTW on my switch. It is so immersive and fun.It is also the best privacy screen. Be it private banking information or writing an email, nobody can see your screen.DifferencesThe biggest difference is the screen size and glare. While the Ones looked big, the Pros look even bigger. It is really a “wow” effect. Makes it feel like you are looking at a huge screen. I knew that the screen was going to be bigger, but honestly they were even bigger than I expected. The glare is also completely gone. The Ones had a glare from the bottom (if it was bright outside). I actually 3d printed bottom pieces to block it. The Pros completely take care of that. They redesigned their lens to be flatter.ConclusionThe Pros are definitely a step up from the Ones. The increased screen size with glare reduction while keeping the light weight and stylish good looks. Great glasses.

I had high expectations for the XREAL One Pro AR Glasses, but unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. There are several serious issues that make this product not worth the price:No App on the Apple Store: There is no official app available, meaning you can’t manage settings or make adjustments through an app, which severely limits usability.Frequent Freezing in Some Apps: In several applications, the image freezes as soon as it opens, forcing you to restart the device.Blurry Edges & Poor Image Quality: The picture quality around the edges is noticeably blurry, which makes it unsuitable for professional tasks. Not Suitable for Stock Trading or Work: The display performance is unreliable, making it a poor choice for trading, financial analysis, or any kind of precision work.High Battery Drain: When connected to your phone, the glasses drain the battery extremely quickly. Not Compatible with Dell Desktop PCs: I tested these glasses with multiple Dell desktops, and they simply don’t work.Overpriced for What It Offers: Paying this much just to get a slightly larger screen for watching videos is unreasonable.Overall, this product feels unfinished and underdeveloped, more like a beta version than a polished consumer device. If you’re looking for reliable AR glasses, I strongly recommend exploring other options before spending this amount of money.

I bought it full of excitement about a new product category to work from remotely, while travelling and in a comfortable body position than just sitting on a officetable.I compared it with the 100 EUR cheaper Viture Luma Pro.Many things are not good enough yet to ensure a smooth experience, but first the good ones:[+] Image Quality and brightness is good (but much better, brighter and sharper on the Viture Luma Pro (I tested it next to this one)[+] It's really fine to watch movie sometimes for 1-3 hours on this glasses[+] speakers are pretty good. (In general not private and not very loud but good sound quality with bose)[+] Nicer cable than on Luma Pro, Nicer design in my opinion.[+] Pinned Mode allows to stick monitor on one place and when you look somewhere else, the dimming could be turned to transparency (nice in public) like a standing monitor[+] full privacy: screen cannot be seen from the other side (like on the Luma pro)[+] Convenient smooth follow mode: allows you to go running online the gym with these without too much shakeHowever:[-] No long term use (makes dizziness and confusion of eyes, feels not healthy) I used it half day and my eye-confusion/dizziness lasted several hours after[~] widescreen function as well as SmallSideMonitor works without extra software. However the sharpness and quality looks not satisfying on both modes. (Text almost not readable on small side screen)[-] everything on the border is not easy to read: quality lacks outside a bit, especially with text and when you have the taskbar on the bottom or some folder-tree on the left-lower corner. And display is fixed so it stays there all the time. In general I would not recommend to use this one for productivity for more than 1 hour.[-] consumes a loooot of power. Crazy. It drained Samsung s24 ultra battery -50% in 30 minutes youtube video. Absolutely not for daily use[-] it has a hidden camera, which cannot be used (too dark, sees only the flashlight of phone), but at the same time makes you uncomfortable (spying?)[-] movement-following display is sometimes okay, but shakes very much (no running, movement of head to work properly)[-] App "GlassesControl" for Android was totally useless. Just got an error message while docking the glasses. To drive car it is too much distraction. To walk with the in everyday life is not pleasant (shaking too much, disconnection from other people and surrounding). To work long term on it doesn't feel healthy. For gaming I think they could be okay, but even here your eyes will not like it long term.In sense of quality the Viture Luma pro is way better that this XREAL One Pro. But the features on this one here are more convenient. I think in general this technical invention is not ready yet for most promised use cases in my opinion. For around 200 EUR I would have kept them for those limited use cases. 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice product overall

The customer service was very responsive and resolved a few minor issues early on. Overall, the XREAL One Pro AR glasses have been a great experience. The image quality is very clear, with accurate colors, and the hover controls respond quickly, making them easy and convenient to use. They work well for watching shows, office tasks, and everyday use.The device is very lightweight, and even after long periods of wear, it doesn’t put pressure on my nose. I’m using the M size, which fits perfectly. The adjustable portable screen is a thoughtful design feature, offering a wide field of view and strong immersion. In addition, using it in non-VR mode doesn’t easily cause dizziness. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase and would definitely recommend you all to try it.
