I hate buying online, because I like to hold something in my hands before I purchase it, so this product was a huge surprise for me, and happily, a good one. This player is about half the size I thought it would be, which means I didn't have to rearrange anything in my entertainment center to accommodate it. In spite of its surprisingly small size, it does everything I needed, and more. I know that the measurements are probably given, but I just looked at the picture.I was hard pressed to have to buy blu-ray because MLB no longer sends the World Series Collector Edition in regular DVD. I grudgingly paid money to get a new one, but again, it's better than I imagined. There are two things that stand out to me:1) A USB that does more than just show photos. Connect to the easily accessible USB, and you can show a huge variety of videos, including MP4, on your TV screen. For techno-un-savvy people like me who don't have an iPhone, this is huge.2) Perusing local big box stores for a Blu Ray, I found that all of them come with wireless internet connections and pre-loaded software (read "bloatware") that constantly beg you to log in, to upgrade, or to subscribe, and from what I hear, take a lot of time loading up.This excellent little unit has no wireless connections, no bloatware, no constant dunning of you to log in. It just turns on and does its job. Since I have a Roku sound bar, I had no need for all that garbage, and am glad to find one unique DVD player that did what I want: play DVDs.I have been tempted to buy another one just in case, ten years from now, I wear this one out.For seventy dollars, I got what I needed, and it is an excellent little unit. And, yes, it cost more than some of those wireless things, but I think their "discount" is because everybody from Amazon Prime to Netflix paid them money to feature their apps.I am truly content. I would have given six stars if it had been available.

love the fact that you can play mp4's and mp3's on it. Way to much on screen menu's . The remote sucks because the main controls for play , pause and so on are to tiny they should be the biggest buttons on the controler but all in all I love it. Planning on buying another one or two.

Tiene una excelente imagen en Blu-ray, con USB reproduce el Dolby Atmos sin problema.Es muy fácil de uso.Por desgracia en DVD todavía sigue con región 1, no puede leer DVD hechos para México.Buen producto para Blu-Ray.

Have had this 2-1/2 yrs in a household of only adults. It was not used often and the remote still has the batteries that came with it. The remote has an awkward layout with the most used buttons all near the bottom and I disliked the difficulty of finding the physical buttons on the unit (like when the remote got left on the coffee table).Still, it worked fine...until recently. Discs now get stuck in the middle of playing and this last time wouldn't respond to any input; had to unplug/plug in again to be able to open it to remove the disk. It's headed for the recycling station.Panasonic has become trash. Not long ago we purchased a mini-stereo from them which malfunctioned within a couple weeks.

I've had a bunch of Panasonic products over the years and always happy with their quality and longevity. So I was glad to see they're still making DVD players. The remote and interface is a little wonky, but easy enough to use once you get used to it. Picture quality and everything is great.

I'm very happy with this. I just wanted a DVD player. Which is becoming harder and harder ro find funny enough. But I'm not parting with my DVD collection. It's nothing fancy. Plug it in and play. Just like DVD players have always been. I didn't want wireless or Bluetooth or anything else.
