This is cheap. You get what you pay for. It does not take still photos, and I am unable to get it to work outside of my settings. It stopped working altogether. Just spend a few more dollars and get one that works. When I opened it, it appeared to have been used as well. Good luck finding it on your computer. Just don't do it.

Adequate but base needs more weight

The camera provides adequate quality and the built in lightbis helpful. Must be used from above a flat surface unless youvhave image rotation software. The base does not have enough weight to hold the camera but was remedied with a role of duck tape.

i use movavi studio with this camera as it is installed on my computer capture camera feature;that said, the quality is very good. some said if falls over, ya, put some weight on it and quit whining. i recent wrote a book on mapping an estate or home for landscaping and used the camera for many sketches to illistrate what was being done.i have no complaints and recommended it to several writers in the last years since i bought this. i think i got it in 2020, but i am not sure

Did not come with instructions. However, I figured it out. Keep reading if you want instructions.First, connect the camera to the computer's USB port.Second, turn on the camera with the switch at the top and the light will turn on.Third, on your computer, go to settings, Bluetooth and devices, camera. Make sure you have enabled the USB camera.Fourth, go to the camera app on the computer. Click the icon at the top right corner, in the camera app, that will change it from the front facing camera to the USB camera (if you're using a laptop). This icon is located above the photo icon that you press to take a picture or record a video.

It is functional, the camera works great, the light is helpful and I love the color, but it might be a little too long because it toppled easily. I have to maneuver it so that it stands up.

Functional & budget

Functional for a budget type.Takes sufficient quality photos to record/display if needed.Does a simple job, has some split second 'lag', when moving documents, but I don't mind it.

This document camera works just fine. I had to google the name of the camera to download the needed software. The Readme first page explains how to get around the security settings on your computer. I'll come back and let y'all know if it turned out that there was a virus, but I assume it's fine. It did not show up in the sidebar of my Mac Finder Window, but on Zoom it was under Advanced settings: 2nd camera. It worked just great there. Since I intend to use it on Zoom, that's all I need to know. It has a little light on it, and you can focus the lens enough to clearly see very tiny dots on the page. I like that it is so small and flexible so that I can position it however I need in a small space on my desk. I find that it stands up perfectly well.
