This turned out to be a pain to get going. Mostly because they didnt make clear that you can only use the card reader and reciept programs on ONE computer (the other you use on any computer you want the scanner to work on, and I've done that, the generic program is on my main and my laptop and the card reader and reciept programs only on my laptop- it works FINE). They offered very kindly that I could buy another license for another computer for about $50. Ummmm, NO LOL. They said this is because whenever a copy of their software is registered that they have to pay microsoft a fee...so there's that. I'll do without, thanks for offering. The customer support was fairly fast, nice, and helpful.....and apparently american, so no accents that are hard to understand which is nice.I put the card reader and receipt stuff on my laptop...I don't need much of that kind of thing at home. Then I installed the base program only on my main computer. Plugged everything in and it wouldn't work and kept talking about a twain source. Turns out that means the DRIVERS for the thing that you'd THINK would be installed with all the software. You'd be wrong. And they're NOT on the page where it tells you to download the stuff to install it and no mention of it even being needed. I am using windows 10 on my main computer and windows 11 on my laptop- in case that helps.I searched their website and found the driver software. (Heavy sigh). SO, I tried to install THAT. It didn't like that there was a folder in appdata (C drive/Users/"name of computer"/Appdata/Local). (Another heavier exasperated sigh) So I deleted that folder out and the install immediately went off with no problem. I did as it said and unplugged the scanner, waited a few then plugged it back in and it immediately scanned the paper I had in it. Then it autoscanned every paper I put to it (you can turn that on and off). GREAT! Finally working.So I took the same driver program and put it on my laptop. It didn't give me any problems there and again I did what it said and unplugged the scanner, waited, plugged it back in and it started scanning. FINALLY!I like the scanner itself. It looks really nice and works fast (the software has been a touch laggy in receiving though- I think it is something I enabled in the settings that I can turn off though). In the settings you can tell it what form you want the scan in- pdf, jpg and the like. You can choose color or B/W, every setting that you'd think of from any other scanner, you have here. It's lightweight and the case is nice...I love having a case to keep it safe when I'm not needing it. Mainly I just need it to scan everyday household/personal documents at home when I don't want to fuss with the behemoth printer/scanner for something quick. You know, the ones that one wants to keep or needs to send to others via online methods. It will also pair nicely in my laptop bag with the portable printer I have in there. In the case of an emergency evacuation I could realistically have all the basics of my home computer system in my bag to navigate the paperwork part of the disaster and maybe not lose my mind LOL.This saved my fanny on the cusp of an appearance in court. I had a colored piece of paper to scan that my regular printer/scanner was NOT coping with well at all. I ran it through this scanner (on my main computer where I only have the main scanner program mind you) and it scanned it perfectly for my court case. YES!!!!!! I think the main problem with this scanner is them not being more open about the limitations on the software and also that the main base program works on as many computers as you want to put it on. The main base program works similarly to the scanning program for my main printer/scanner....it just doesn't auto assign it to folders and categories like the card reader segment and reciept segment do. I do that anyway myself so no biggie. Really, it's not a big deal at all though it seemed like one initially. I am giving it the full 5 stars from the 4 I previously assigned because it saved my fanny in hero fashion. The people saying that it only works on one computer did not investigate it thoroughly enough...disregard their reviews.So.....after you get the software on the page they sent you to, go to the top to support and all drivers and get the driver program too (for PS600). The driver program needs to be on ANY computer that you're going to use the scanner with. Then if you are just going to use it as a regular scanner you do the plain program that is first on the install page and stop. If you are installing on the computer where you WANT the card and receipt scanning.....you install all the programs from the install page and register the two that need registration.

The scanner is decently compact, seems well built and includes a travel case. I ordered this scanner because I didn't want something that takes up desk space... I wanted something that stores easily and can be hook-up easily when needed. This scanner meets these requirement.The software is ok and reasonably easy and intuitive to use.The scanner is as described and pictured on Amazon - 4 Stars from me.

Very neatly packaged, simple to read guide card in the box, set up in 5 minutes. The scanner is a reasonable size and does not take up too much room on the work surface. The scan speed is incredible; you can put up to 20 sheets in the paper feeder and scan both sides papers with ease. The program is also very simple to use. In general, I am extremely delighted with it; if you are looking for a scanner.

I bought this to scan my receipts for taxes, it's 3 months and this product will not hookup with my window 11 laptop. And to add insult I cannot return the product because the window for return is closed.

I'm a big fan of the thermal printers that can easily be taken along on trips - whether for work or just traveling long term. Now adding this scanner gives me all the functionality of my big "all in one" desktop machine, but on the road. I will say I still primarily use my phone for small receipts, just take a picture, but for rental agreements and itemized hotel receipts, this is the way to go - I can scan it in then toss the paper, over time this is going to be a big help. It's also just nice to know I have this at my disposal to scan something if the need comes up - it's one of the main reasons I like having a thermal printer with me - piece of mind. I've had some not fun experiences trying to use the "office center" in hotels in the past - to the point that I have no desire to ever have to depend on those services again - this scanner helps me ensure that I'm prepared while on the road.

Ordered this for going to conventions and other gathering where I just seem to collect business cards. At the end of the day I have started running all of the cards through this scanner so I can organize them electronically and by subject or industry. This scanner makes quick work of scanning documents and business cards and creates a very nice image at the end. This scanner easily fits in my laptop backpack with the wireless thermal printer and is light enough that my bag is not like a rucksack.Overall, this is a very nice document scanner.
