I bought a Canon DR-M260 for almost $1000. I used it maybe 50 times before it started malfunctioning and not scanning images correctly at all. I contacted Canon tech support and the 3rd party reseller and both informed me after THIRTY (30) DAYS they NEVER repair or replace scanners "under warranty", they ONLY send you a used, refurbished scanner. Well if it was broken and mis-manufactured before, why would it be any better a second time??!This is a bait and switch scam to force unsuspecting customers who purchase their scanners into using up their old, broken stock that doesn't work either.BUY A BETTER BRAND

We bought this product for nearly $1000 in May 2023. There were issues from the beginning but we were able to work through them by going directly to the CANON support and getting drivers there. HOWEVER, the last upgraded drivers for this scanner were made in 2022.In November 2024 Windows did some upgrades to the computer and now the scanner and computer are incompatible and there is no new driver available to download to fix the problem.Help from CANON is little at best. I work for a fairly large corporation and 2-3 weeks of IT support and help has not been able to fix the problem.I would NOT recommend this scanner to anyone.

Good Scanner for small to midsize office. We purchased one for each office and so far they have been easy to install and use. The scan quality is good.

The scanner is a little expensive but my accounting firm has now bought 4 of them and they work great! We have had 3 of them for 3 years now and have not had any issues.
