I have a Mac computer. This is an excellent scanner. This has saved us much space and time, especially when we moved. The scanner was fairly expensive as a used piece of hardware. It was very well worth it. I would not hesitate to buy a second scanner. In the process of moving, we have sold our house and that of our mother-in-law, which would be nearly impossible without the scanner. We digitize all the paperwork and were able to handle the paperwork and transactions remotely with this scanner. If you need to digitize a large amount of people and keep it with you, this is your machine.

We use 8 of these in my office. High speed, high quality and alot of speed for your dollar.
Bought two scanners from BT Company within a week and neither scanner works!! Paper feeder broke on one and usb port on the scanner is damaged on the other!

After suffering through a document scanner ca 2006, I finally bit the bullet to buy a fast, high quality machine that was certified for Kofax Desktop Express. What a difference -- in speed and quality! Terrific customer support from the vendor made this purchase (which was very expensive given my overall budget) but more than worth the saving in time and aggravation with the older scanner.
