Ich hatte eigentlich nur ein Gerät gesucht, das neben Dokumenten auch Fotos einscannen würde. Sowohl die Marke Kodak als auch das Feature, dass Papier mit bis zu 413g/m² eingezogen werden kann, sprach für dieses Gerät.Resultat: Ich bin endlos begeistert und kann das Gerät uneingeschränkt empfehlen! (Nach 3 Wochen Nutzungsdauer)Der Scanner arbeitet wirklich schnell, die ersten 10 Seiten nochmal extraschnell. Er schneidet automatisch alle Ränder perfekt und dreht selbst ein total schräg eingezogenes Dokument perfekt grade. Der automatische Einzug macht dabei einen sehr robusten Eindruck. Selbst 10 Jahre alte Kontoauszüge (Papier klebt schon fast aneinander) hat der Scanner nahezu reibungslos hintereinander weg eingezogen. Auch OCR-Erkennung ist beim PDF-Scan immer automatisch mit dabei.Ein weiteres sehr gutes Feature sind die Kurzwahltasten. Hier können 9 Profile abgelegt und mit einem Tastendruck abgerufen werden. Einfacher geht es m.E. nicht. In nur 3sec startet man somit den Scanvorgang seiner Wahl.Über die Deckung des Papiers lässt sich einstellen, ab wann der Scanner eine Seite als "blank" erkennt und nicht in die Ergebnisdatei schreibt. Auch ein sehr gutes und leicht zu bedienendes Feature.Außerdem finde ich ihn platzsparend und leise. Um den Papierkrieg zu Hause gerecht zu werden, ein 1a Helfer! :-)

Only have this scanner because my company requires it for check scanning. It is constantly pulling in more than one page at a time which means it takes twice as long to get the job done correctly.I have a scan snap from Fujitsu and love it. It’s easy to use and seldom fails.

I bought this machine, looking forward to replace my Fujitsu iX500. I decided to keep my iX500 and return this kodak machine at the end.Pro:Good image quality and tone.Good speed, as advertised, at low dpi.Cons:Unbearably slow at color 300dpi and black 600dpi. By comparison, Fujitsu iX500 can maintain 25 sheets per minute at these resolutions.Generation of searchable PDF is very slow compared with iX500.Poor Mac OS support. Its Windows software does NOT work with Parallels Desktop + Win10. (But VirtualBox + Win10 is ok.)

Super fast scanner but not suited to photos

Super fast scanner. Very easy to set up and configure with 9 preset settings. I use all 9 of them so an example would be "Colour PDF Single Sided" or "B&W PDF Double Sided".Its amazing at taking one sheet at a time through the feeder. Not once have I seen it double feed with 2 sheets stuck together.Beware though that it would not be the best for scanning family photos. Attached are 2 images. One from a typical cheap Epson Workforce Printer/Flatbed scanner and another from the Kodak. Both at 600dpi with max jpeg quality and little compression. The Epson is much better quality.

The electrical cord from the scanner to the outlet did not fit the scanner. I had order a new one from WalMart.

Multiple scanning options such as PDF color, PDF B&W, TIFF, JPEG, scan to email. Quality is superb and functionality is easy, this is the 30th one my company has purchased for offices across the US. Works great!
