We use it for a Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom. It functions well but can be touchy with other Bluetooth connectivity in the house. Has some nice features for other streaming.

Does not work right either have no sound on or the Bluetooth speaker just picks up static noise from this receiver/ transmitter do not recommend this to anyone just a waste of money

Exactly what I needed. I was given an AV Center/Amplifier that was top-of-the-line in the early 2000's, but without any Bluetooth capability. Not only does this product provide various connection capabilities, it can act as either a receiver or a transmitter. I am considering purchasing another unit for a TV on the opposite side of the room to act as a transmitter so that I can patch the TV audio to the AV Center without having to run wiring through the walls and overhead.The sound quality is excellent, setup was a breeze, and the included RCA-to-Mini jack fit my needs perfectly. They also included a digital optical cable, which I can use with my more up-to-date TV.This unit can be charged and operate on the built-in battery, making it portable, or remain connected to a charging adapter.Be aware that the included charging cord is very short (about 8"), and there is no adapter included. I, fortunately, have an abundance of these laying around, but if you don't, you'll need to purchase one.
