Great telescope for the price

After being let down by a string of disappointing telescopes over the years, I’d basically given up on the hobby altogether. Too many flimsy mounts, poor optics, and overall questionable build quality had left me jaded.This telescope completely restored my faith.From the moment I opened the box, I knew this was different. Every single component was individually wrapped with care - not just the main pieces, but literally everything. It’s a small touch that speaks volumes about quality control and shows someone actually takes pride in what they’re selling.The stand, once assembled, is genuinely impressive. Sturdy, stable, and looks far more expensive than it actually is. But the real test came when I finally pointed it skyward.I’ve spent time with my friend’s telescope that set him back around $600, so I had a pretty good baseline for comparison. I was genuinely shocked - the viewing experience is remarkably similar. Clear, crisp images with none of the frustrating haziness or distortion I’d dealt with in cheaper models before.If you’ve been burned by subpar telescopes in the past like I have, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s proof that you don’t always need to spend a fortune to get serious quality.This is the telescope I wish I’d found years ago.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Good things1. Tripod stand, and the overall quality is good, especially with the price point and , being a beginner telescope. I have heard stories about bad and shaky tripod quality, but this is pretty sturdy. I love the ability to adjust height and its very portable2. Finder scope, useful to find point of ovary faster, wish it had the inverted lens on like the zenith lens3. Instructions to install also very straight fwd. I struggled with the initial setup, as the lens just didnt seem to work for me, and was blurred first few attempts. Video tutorials helped., including a QR code /URL to a video tutorials would be beneficial to new usersTwo pieces of feedback so far 1. The handle is not easy to use, moving the handle changes the view but doesn't fully move the telescope so adjusting the view is not straight fwd. This is making it much more difficult with the other lenses which is not the 23mm 2. Was not impressed with the 23MM magnification, but I will continue with 10mm, 4mm to see the moon in the coming days.overall positive experience for the price point and being a beginner telescope!

Look. This certainly isn't a professional quality telescope. And I probably wouldn't get this for adult use only. But I ordered it planning to use it alongside kids in the family, and it's definitely good enough as a first telescope or to encourage curiosity in kids. A fun family activity, and maybe a gateway to getting a higher-end telescope later on. Not a pro unit. Not a toy. Somewhere in between, and I'd say its quality and price reflect that. What's really nice though is that you get everything you need for your kids to get started, including a storage bag and tri-pod. No extras needed.

I finally got some time to set this telescope up and try it out, and overall I’m happy with it for a beginner-friendly, budget scope. Setup was straightforward and didn’t take long — all the parts fit together easily and the instructions were simple to follow.The highlight so far has been the Moon. Using the 23mm eyepiece first made it easy to find the target, and adding the Barlow lens gave a noticeably closer view. Switching to the 10mm eyepiece with the Barlow lens was even better — I could see finer details on the lunar surface, which was really impressive for this price range.However, the phone adapter wasn't great. I couldn't take great pictures.If you want a simple telescope to learn with and enjoy views of the Moon (and brighter objects), this is a fun starter scope.

This product is not worth the money. I feel like is a piece of junk. I unboxed it followed the manufacturer instructions when putting it together. Took it outside followed tie directions on how to line the barrel up. Still was the hardest thing to find the moon. Even when the moon was full. I have used telescopes before, and never had this much trouble locating anything in the sky. That is why I am giving this item a one star.
