Nice details from this lens... high quality in every way.But using the letters "RF" is misleading. It goes onto full frame cameras but it converts the image to what you would see on a crop sensor camera. It should really be called an "RF-S" lens. it loses half a star because it's not truly RF and it loses half a star because the lens hood doesn't lock into place and easily twists loose.Minor quibbles. For the important stuff, its superb.

I’m genuinely impressed by the Sigma 18–50mm f/2.8. It’s incredibly sharp, lightweight, and bright thanks to its constant f/2.8 aperture. The build quality feels solid, giving it a nice balance between portability and performance.During my use, there were a few instances where autofocus hesitated, but I’d chalk that up more to user error than the lens itself.My only real wish — built-in image stabilization. That would make this lens close to perfect.Verdict:A compact, bright, and reliable everyday zoom lens that punches well above its weight. Perfect for hybrid shooters who value both image quality and convenience.

Perfect lens for what i use it for. Photos are crisp and clear. For the price, it is absolutely worth it. Have it paired with the R10 and its magical. Highly recommend.

Pros -~ Best f2.8 lens for the price. Nothing even comes close~ The zoom range is literally perfect. I never hit the range of too close or too far away and want more. For an APS-C sensor found on the R100 through R7 cameras, this lens is a MUST.~ Size is reasonable. Its not short, and it does extend, but not by much at all. The lens hood adds a bit of length as one would expect, but not by a lot.~ Quality - Picture quality is excellent. I do a lot of editing and astrophotography, and there is not a single defect I can detect.Cons:I got the kit here, and most of it isnt needed. I dont think I would pay for any of it.

Ottimo obiettivo..Canon dovrebbe fare questo tipo di obiettivi per le sue apsc..Sigma lavora molto bene ottime immagini e solida qualità costruttiva..dettaglio importante nella scelta: l'obiettivo presenta una ghiera che può essere usato per controllare gli ISO o impostata come gli altri obiettivi RF
