Easy to install, strong magnet and it makes holding your phone where needed for easy hands free use. Seems made of good quality materials and the fit is perfect.

Terrible Purchase

Ok. So this is a really say cool holder. I like how it mounts, it’s a clean fit. The magnet is solid. So when I went to mount it, I did not take into account that the gear shift was going to be on the way. They really pumped this up in the Amazon add. It made it a really tight fit to shift the truck into gear while this is in the holder. It also takes up a wee bit of space on the truck screen when mounted by the gear shifter. It was bothering me. So I thought I would just ok. Go to the left vent which it moved across and set up fine. Ok now I am typing with my left hand. And wait. I now have to run a charge chord across. So let’s now try using the passenger vent. It works. The phone is a little farther away than I like. I wished they would have given a longer arm option. This thing was a bit pricey but I do feel it’s solid and will last. Would I buy again. I don’t know. Luckily I have long arms and can reach it. Ok so I see I didn’t hit submit on this. After a week of using it. I literally hate the placement of it and how it is not functional with the gear shift. I feel it’s a terrible purchase. If they gave you a 6-8” extension so you could mount it to the right of the screen on the passenger vent. This thing would be mint. But that is a no. Again. Do not buy this.

Built very solid! Very firm grip on vent frame that still lets you adjust your vent flow, so does not affect moving the vents at all. The magnets are super strong. I hid my wire behind the trum of my f150 Lariat so there is no wire visible at all. The arms allow you to adjust it upwards so no air is blocked from AC at all. Perfect fit for what I was looking for! Highly recommend!

I just purchased a used 2021 F150 XLT and unlike my previous 2021 F150 Platinum, this truck does not have the wireless charger in the console storage tray. I decided to get a mount that I could leave connected via a spiral USB cable which would allow for the phone to charge while using Apple CarPlay. I looked at options and there were not too many out there. I landed on this one and decided to give it a shot.Installing it was easy using the included instructions. It does not fit through the actual air vent which you use to control/direct air flow. It attaches to the air vent frame and once installed, it's super sturdy. Once I got everything positioned where I wanted it (it has plenty of adjustment built into it), I tested out the charging of my phone which works perfectly. Additionally, since the vent will be blowing air onto the back of the phone while charging, I expect it will have less overheating issues in comparison to the charger on my prior F150 Platinum.If you pair this with a USB-C to USB-C spiral cable, it makes for a clean installation that's visible if you need it, but also out of the way. Super happy with this and if it stops working down the road, I will update my review. For now, I couldn't be more pleased.

Very good solution if you don’t want to lose a cup holder. Metal material is sturdy. Installation is easy. Magnet is good. The rating is just because it’s very pricy. I believe it is way overpriced still. Even if you have bluecruise you can use the vent to the right of the screen.
