My 6 year-old used these on a recent trip. The backpack is small compared to school-sized backpacks (but was a good size for snacks and water bottles) while the carry-on was the perfect size for stowing under an airplane seat (both the carry-on and the back-pack could fit together under some seats) and was easy for my child to maneuver by herself. The carry-on has a large zip compartment on the other side of the owl face that was good for stowing smaller items such as markers and card games as well as a Kindle. Due to the shape of the carry-on, some larger coloring books did not fit in the suitcase and my laptop also did not fit. The set is REALLY cute and my daughter received many compliments. The set seemed to hold-up well and we didn't experience any dings or scratches. I would definitely re-purchase.

The design of this case also allows the wheels to protrude out keeping the case elevated preventing the bottom of the luggage from touching the ground. With the luggage only weighing in at a mere 3.5 lbs., children can wheel these fun cases around, as they also feature our inline skate wheels that make rolling even smoother. This luggage adorable. My daughter loves it! She received tons of compliments on her luggage and she felt like a "big girl" being responsible for all her own luggage. The luggage held a large majority of her clothes and the backpack held a cardigan, blanket and tablet for the airplane.

We just got this set and I LOVE it! It is so cute and seems really sturdy/well made. It is perfectly sized for a young child but would be too small for an older child/teen. We are traveling in March so after it gets some heavy use I will add to my review.

We travelled abroad with this set, carry on, it held up well. It does scratch rather easily, but really is not too bad. Kid was very happy to have all her own stuff handy, got a lot of compliments on this luggage, the only thing I was not too happy about (so I gave 4 stars), the shape: it narrows down towards the top making it somewhat difficult for larger items (magazines, books) to fit. And the handle bent a little, but fairly noticeable. Kid was really happy, carried all her stuff, so I can say it served its purpose!

Purchased this for our 5 year old daughter for some upcoming travel. It is adorable and sturdy! And she loves it. The backpack is perfect too. If you are even considering you should purchase this. You won't be disappointed.

It arrived absollutely adorable and my daughter loved it. However, the seams came apart from the luggage which made it looked cheap. She got to use it twice.
