I have bought three pairs of this type of shoe in the past year for my child. One pair was fine and lasted 6 months. The other two have been terrible and did not last. One pair lasted less than 3 months before the stitching on the toe came apart and the sole separated from the shoe from normal use. The most recent pair has been even worse. After 5 weeks the velcro no longer functions and the straps come loose almost immediately, even after checking for dirt/debris in the velcro. In both cases of defective shoes the defects only arise just after the return window elapses. New Balance also does not make good on their own warranties; never sending replacements and only providing a fraction of the cost of replacing the shoes, if they do anything. New Balance used to be a quality brand, but they are clearly having some consistency issues lately.

Bought these for my granddaughter , she typically wears them 2-3 days a week on physical education days at school! They are lightweight and comfortable for her and are holding up well! I’ve washed them twice and washed very nicely in the washer , but have air dried them! Very happy with our purchase!

These shoes were adorable and just what I needed for my toddler. They were easy to put on with the bungee laces and stayed on well during playtime. The fit was true to size and they felt comfortable even after a full day of walking and running around. The colors looked just like the pictures and held up after a few wears. Overall, a great pair of sneakers for little ones.
