The length is great. I prefer a longer necklace myself. When you first take it out you do have to mess with it a little to loosen up the pouch portion but that was pretty easy to do. I posted pictures of 3 different shaped stones to get an idea of how they look, a cube, an oval, and a triangular shape. I like the braiding of the string, it looks pretty to me. The stones were easy to get into the pouch and the metal bead slides right down easily. The string is a little rough to the touch, not too bad but the softer the better in my opinion. It did seem to loosen up a bit when I ran it through my fingers. I may soak them in warm water to see if it helps soften them up a little more. I think they are good quality for the price.

These are perfect for holding small or tumbled crystals. I use them as hanging decorations in my car, and they’ve been holding the stones securely without any slipping. The woven cord is adjustable and feels sturdy. Highly functional and nicely made.
